Robin has been arbitrating or quasi-arbitrating in one forum or jurisdiction or another for over 20 years and in over 1,000 cases. Robin is a Fellow of CIArb of the CMC. Robin holds an LLM in International Comparative Dispute Resolution, including Arbitration and ADR from the Centre for Commercial Legal Studies of Queen Mary University London.

Robin has acted as a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration Act 1996, on over 30 occasions in respect of business to business or business to consumer disputes. Robin has been an assessor of over 50 arbitral awards of arbitrators new to the ABTA travel arbitration panel.

In respect of his wider decision making experience, amongst other things, Robin sits as a Fee Paid First Tier Tribunal Judge, was an Ombudsman at the Financial Ombudsman Service, adjudicator for CEDR in respect of flight delay claims and has been a chair or member of a number of professional regulatory panels for over 15 years.
